| Everyone, we have the next Capture The Flag tournament which will be played on the 11th of June. Everyone... I wish to sigh up the clan for the CTF Tournament. This is a great opportunity for us to get our selves organised and get experience rather than sit tight and play in servers where only ordinary people play. It's time that we test our skill in a real fight with the other clans. Go here for more details: CTFtourneyRemember everyone, you will need to have a @forums to login to play in the tournament. Please reply to this as soon as possible if you agree or disagree with my idea. | |

| Yes it is but it would depend on how many player s are willing to play in the tournament. Apparently, this is what the turnament is about: - Quote :
- The CTF BRAWL is a single elimination event. Each final is best of 3 matches (the first team to win 2 matches advances to the next round). Each match is 4 rounds long. Each round lasts a maximum of 5 minutes. Teams are 4 players max, but should have a minimum of two players. Substitutes can be rotated in at any time during the game.

| This is for solarcold and Hexi as they are Team Leader and Backup Leader. As team leader and backup leader, you will need to know a few chat commands that you will need to use in the tournament. - Code:
-
/op <player> <optional access level> #Gives another player a higher access level; the level defaults to the level one lower than you access level, which is also the maximal possible level
/deop <player> #Reverses /op; it takes away a player's access level, effectively making him unauthenticated again. Only works on players of lower access level than yours, of course.
/promote <player> <optional steps> #elevates a player's access level the given number of steps (default: one)
/demote <player> <optional steps> #lowers a player's access level the given number of steps (default: one)
/admin <command> #Execute a console command on the server if you have sufficient access rights
/lock #Locks your current team. Nobody can join it any more on their own. To let someone in, you need to invoke
/unlock #makes your team available for everyone to join again.
/invite <player> #From that moment on, the player is allowed to join you. Another effect of /invite, even if your team is not locked, is that the invited player can read all of your team's /team messages. Invitations are permanent until revoked. That means a player who is invited into your team can join and leave it freely without further need to /invite him again. Players who were on the team when you /locked it are not automatically invited when they leave on their own account.
/uninvite <player> #reverses /invite. The invitation is revoked, the player can no longer join you, and if he currently is on your team, he will be thrown out.
/admin silence <player> #Silences that player
/admin voice <player> #Allows that player to talk
/help commands_tourney #Tourney related commands: Go here for the full list of chat commands: Advanced Chat FeaturesJust don't abuse those commands OK or we will be disqualified from the tournament.

| Thanks. Will I be right to say the most important ones here are lock and invite commands meaning i should invite all the teammates and then lock the team? | |

| Yes, the most important ones are the INVITE and LOCK chat commands. Use the OP chat command if one of the teammates can't enter because they forgot their login details.
Yes, you simply invite the team into one of the colors (blue or gold) and then lock the team.

| Also, here are the levels that you will need to know: LEVEL | MEANING | DETAILS | 0 | Owner | The owner of the server. Commands entered on the server console are executed with these rights. | 1 | Administrator | A server administrator. By default, almost as powerful as the owner himself. | 2 | Moderator | A server moderator. Is still allowed to use /admin, but is restricted to player management commands. | 7 | Team Leader | Leader of a team. By default, no admin rights at all. | 8 | Team Member | Member of a team. Local team accounts get this level. | 12 | Local User | Players with local accounts get this level. | 15 | Remote User | Players with remote accounts get this level by default. | 16 | Fallen From Grace | Authenticated players who abused default rights given to them. | 17 | Shunned | Same, only worse | 19 | Authenticated | Minimal level authenticated players can get. | 20 | Program | Unauthenticated players. |
A remote user is the basic level any player needs to have to be allowed to play in any tournament.

| Try planning farther ahead. Like, every saturday, or sunday, or something like that, maybe every other day, so it fits better and there are more chances to get there. | |

| I was thinking more like.... every other day, since theres only about 2 saturdays and sundays left till the tourney, it would be a goob idea to do it during the night, maybe, monday, wednesday, friday, and sunday? all at like, 7:00 EST? idk. just an idea to get more practice. I could make up a chart if you want, for all the times and dates n stuff | |

| Convert the EST to your time using this website's converter. It's very useful: Time Zone Converter - Time & Time Zone ConversionI'm going to work in 24hour time for solarcold's sake. ( 7PM = 19:00 ) EST ... that's like 10:00 for me ... I can't make it at that time ( 8PM = 20:00 ) EST ... that's like 11:00 for me ... I have a lot of work to do at that time damn... The tournament will already cut my sleep time as it's scheduled at 17:00 GMT Saturday which is 2:00 Sunday for me. Where I live? Australia. For the practice sessions, go to the server: ID -=}CTF Pro Germany< There, practice for an hour. That will be enough of a practice for you guys. | |
